This book is a response to the effects of hardships on a generation. Memories can be shown through photographs, once a memory is made, it cannot be changed. Inspired by old images from family albums and found images of the devastation of war. I have amalgamated landscape images of the current pandemic with images of my grandparents when they were young children during the second world war. My aim is to look at how history repeats itself; causing resilience, adaption and focus on the social and cultural impacts on events.
